Clark Gray paper receives 2023 IPUMS Research Award
Clark Gray and Maia Call received the 2023 IPUMS Research Award in the category of published research using IPUMS Spatial data. Their paper, “Heat and drought reduce subnational population growth in the global tropics” was published in Population and Environment in April 2023.
Gray is a population and human-environment geographer interested in the interactions between rural livelihoods, household well-being, and environmental change in the developing world. Call received her PhD in Geography from UNC-Chapel Hill.
