Lisa Pearce, CPC Fellow and assistant professor of sociology, has been selected as one of five William T. Grant Scholars nationwide. The William T. Grant Scholars Program supports early career scholars who conduct research on youth development. A $300,000 5-year research grant accompanies the award. Dr. Pearce’s project is entitled “Religion’s Role in the Shaping of Self-Image Aspirations and Achievement in Youth.” For more information about the William T.
