Study Directors Barbara Entwisle and Nancy Dole from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, and Battelle Memorial Institute’s Charles Knott updated visitors on the status of the study, including accomplishments and challenges of fielding this large and important study of children’s health.

“We were pleased to have the national visitors come to Duplin County and see how the study really operates at the local level,” said Dole. “The visitors relayed how valuable it was to talk with the staff who are working with families who have volunteered to be in this study.”
