Abstract

This book brings a unique perspective to the intersection of immigration and labor force competitiveness issues. Building on the shoulders of the pioneering work of such labor force demographers as Clifford C. Clogg, Philip Hauser, and Teresa Sullivan, this research applies the Labor Force Utilization Framework (later known as the Labor utilization Framework or LUF) to the experience of Asian-American workers in the United States.
