Abstract
The Population Division of the Department of Economic and Social Affairs of the United Nations is organizing the Sixth Coordination Meeting on International Migration in response to General Assembly resolution 58/208 of 13 February 2004 on International Migration and Development, which requests the Secretary-General to continue convening meetings to coordinate activities regarding international migration. The meeting will also assist the Population Division in preparing the report of the Secretary-General on possible options for appropriate follow-up to High-level Dialogue to be considered by the General Assembly at its 63rd session in 2008 as requested in General Assembly resolution 61/208 of 6 March 2007.
