Jessica Ding is a PhD student in the Department of Geography at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. She is studying the spatial dynamics of infectious disease ecology and evolution in order to help inform public policy and improve societal health. Prior to beginning her doctoral training at UNC, Jessica studied Integrative Biology and Environmental Studies at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, where she earned her B.A. Jessica is passionate about working to address problems at the nexus of climate change, land use, and global health.
