Nafeesa Andrabi is a 4th year Sociology PhD student, Biosocial Fellow and National Science Foundation Graduate Research Fellow. Her research focuses broadly on racial health disparities. Specifically, she is interested in understandings of race among Muslim immigrants in the United State, mental and physical health consequences of Muslim racialization, and the measurement of race and ethnicity in population health research. She is also interested in subjective experiences of inequality and how these impact health across the life course.

Her research takes a mixed methods approach, seeking to integrate multidisciplinary theoretical and methodological approaches to understanding health disparities and experiences of race in the US.
