Gustavo Angeles has principal interests in health economics and applied empirical analysis. His research focuses on the analysis of the impact of socio-economic factors on health outcomes and health-related individual behavior; health and social program impact evaluation; and empirical research methodologies. He collaborates with David Guilkey and Thomas Mroz to examine the impact of health programs under a situation of targeted placement and selective educational achievement. He is conducting evaluations of health programs in developing countries of Asia and Latin America. Angeles has conducted workshops on methods for program impact evaluation in the U.S., Vietnam, Thailand, Costa Rica and Mexico. He is currently Deputy Director of the MEASURE Evaluation Project .
