Anna Maria Siega-Riz, PhD, RD is a Professor of Epidemiology and has a joint appointment in the Department of Nutrition. She is involved in several collaborative research projects (www.cpc.unc.edu/pin) and has published in the areas of maternal nutritional status and its relationship with birth outcomes, diet methodology, reproductive epidemiology, and trends in dietary intakes among US subpopulations. She serves as the Association Chair of Epidemiology and Director of the Nutrition Epidemiology Core of the Clinical Nutrition Research Center in the Department of Nutrition. She is also the Program leader for Reproductive, Perinatal, and Pediatric Epidemiology in the Department of Epidemiology. She teaches in the areas of maternal and child nutrition, women's health and epidemiological methods.
